Animal Care & Enrichment Programs

Animal Care Volunteers & Staff are the frontline team members responsible for the daily maintenance of our animals' living space, the provision of a healthy and varied diet according to every individual animal's needs, daily exercise, and mental enrichment during an animal's stay in the shelter. 

Our Animal Care Team is an essential part of every animal's routine while in the shelter. 

With training, volunteers can aid in daily husbandry, like kennel cleaning and feeding, enrichment, like dog walks and cat playtime, and animal training. Learn the ins-and-outs of what it takes to care for animals in-house everyday!
